News: Cleo Earns Drummond Group AS2 Certification for 2Q18
ROCKFORD, Illinois — July 10, 2018 — Cleo, the global leader in B2B-led cloud integration solutions, is one of nine global organizations whose AS2 software products have been Drummond Certified™ in the automated interoperability test event for the second quarter of 2018. These tests certify the interoperability of AS2 for Version 5.5 of the Cleo Harmony®, Cleo VLTrader®, and Cleo LexiCom® data movement solutions within the Cleo Integration Cloud™.
One of the most widely recognized messaging standards for retail, consumer goods, insurance, financial services, pharmaceutical, government, and other B2B e-commerce needs, AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) enables organizations to easily establish trading partner relationships to exchange business data (EDI, XML, PDF, text files, etc.) securely and reliably. Many companies require trading partners to use AS2 for all EDI or other B2B communications due to increasing security concerns and industry mandates.
Cleo is one of just three organizations to complete every optional test for this round of Drummond AS2 certification. Certain industries have additional requirements they need added to the AS2 standard and, therefore, to the AS2 interoperability test. The optional tests demonstrate additional product capabilities that enable the movement of critical business information among multi-enterprise information ecosystems. The optional tests include:
- AS2 Reliability
- AS2 Restart
- Certification Exchange Messaging (CEM)
- Filename Preservation (FN)
- Multiple Attachment (MA)
- Filename Preservation for Multiple Attachments (FN-MA)
- Filename Preservation with MDN Notification (FN-MDN)
- Secure Hashing Algorithm 2 (SHA-2)
- Chunked Transfer Encoding (CTE)
