Cleo Completes Drummond Group Certification for ebMS Interoperability
ROCKFORD, Illinois – Feb. 27, 2019 – Cleo, a leading provider of ecosystem integration solutions, has successfully completed Drummond Group’s ebMS 2.0 interoperability testing in the fourth quarter of 2018. Cleo was just one of four vendors to participate in the ebMS-4Q18 Drummond Group certification, which verifies interoperability for v5.6 of the Cleo Harmony®, Cleo VLTrader®, and Cleo LexiCom® data movement solutions, part of the Cleo Integration Cloud platform.
As the messaging layer of the ebXML framework, ebMS 2.0 is an OASIS standard that enables secure and reliable Internet data interchange complementary to emerging Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs). EbXML Messaging – also called Transport Routing & Packaging (TRP) – specifically focuses on the means to transmit a document (payload) from one party to another, possibly through intermediaries. EbMS 2.0 products are used globally in several industries, including automotive, financial services, government, healthcare, and retail.
Cleo also successfully completed optional testing for XML Encryption and SSL Client Authentication, as described by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the Automotive Retail Profile for GZIP-based compression of payloads, as described by Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail (STAR).
Cleo Integration Cloud is a single, hybrid ecosystem integration platform enabling organizations to connect, transform, integrate, orchestrate, and analyze end-to-end application, B2B, and data integrations for improved visibility across your business ecosystems. The platform empowers technical and business personas to make better decisions, create stronger relationships with trading partners, drive business continuity and accelerate growth as integration requirements change.
“The Drummond Certified™ program has provided numerous companies innovative ways to test latest versions of their software applications in a vendor-neutral environment for many years, and continues to fully support the ebMS messaging standard,” said Aaron Gomez, supply chain security principal at Drummond Group. “Multiple global industries rely on these effective ebMS standard-based applications to save time and money when exchanging enormous amounts of data over the internet in a secure and reliable method.”
