eCommerce and marketplace platforms regularly update their integration requirements…how up-to-date are Cleo's pre-built integrations?

Cleo is constantly working to keep our out-of-the-box integrations up-to-date since our customers rely on our pre-built templates to quickly and easily integrate with digital marketplaces. We are also currently working on adding more pre-built integrations to our arsenal to expand our offerings and continue making integrations easier than ever.

How complete are the pre-built integrations?

They are predominantly built-out, requiring minimal effort from our customers. The remaining work is largely customizing certain aspects of the template/business logic to make sure it fits the exact needs of your business, as well as fulfills the requirements of your trading partners.

As a manufacturer, how can we utilize APIs for eCommerce and marketplace integrations?

APIs are being used to integrate eCommerce stores with back-office systems, such as WMSs. This enables omnichannel shopping and ensures eCommerce purchases/orders can only be placed if there is sufficient inventory.

APIs are also being used to integrate digital marketplaces with manufacturers’ ERPs to manage orders, fulfillment, inventory, and logistics feeds. Marketplaces tend to have stringent guidelines since they deal with third-party sellers, so using API-based integration provides greater customization so companies can meet evolving marketplace requirements.

What pre-built integration does Cleo offer that can connect my back-office systems to eCommerce stores and Marketplaces?

We are constantly creating more out-of-the-box integrations for our customers. Some examples of pre-built integrations we offer that can connect your core business systems (ERP, TMS, WMS) to eCommerce stores and Marketplaces include:

  • NetSuite
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • SAP 4/HANA
  • Oracle JD Edwards

These out-of-the-box integrations can connect your back-office systems to major eCommerce stores and marketplaces, such as Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, eBay, Walgreens, Kroger, and Target.

How does working with Cleo simplify eCommerce operations?

Cleo Integration Cloud simplifies eCommerce operations by eliminating manual steps and intervention via automating processes such as order-to-cash.

How will eCommerce and marketplace integration help my business?

eCommerce and marketplace integration can help your business grow by opening new sales channels and places for customers to find and buy your products. The greater number of places your product is for sale, the greater likelihood you’ll make more sales.
