News: Cleo Enlisted to Advance Big Data Analytics, Integration for NSF’s Midwest Hub

LOVES PARK, IL — Cleo, a leading provider of enterprise data integration solutions with deep expertise in moving the world’s business data, today announces its membership in the Midwest Big Data Hub (MBDH), a regional collective funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to support complex data collection and knowledge-based decision making.

The NSF this month announced $5 million in awards to establish four regional hubs for data science innovation. The Midwest network of academia, government, and industry – including Cleo, John Deere, Ford, GM, and GE Aviation – will address increasing challenges in collecting, managing, mining, and analyzing growing and increasingly complex data and information collections to guide decision making, specifically for Midwest-related challenges.

The MBDH supports activities that aggregate expertise, projects, and resources, enabling communities to function along multiple “spokes” across themes of importance to the Midwest – society, natural/built environments, and biomedical sciences. Cleo will collaborate on the Business Analytics Spoke to advance big data applications and best practices for analysis.
