Cleo Complete Advantage Suite System Requirements

Hardware

  • Processor equivalent to a Pentium 4 - 1.0 GHz or better
  • 2 GB RAM minimum
  • 10 Mbit network connection (100 Mbit recommended)
  • Minimum of 2 GB of disk space for the Integration Server application and associated files

NOTE: These are merely approximate figures. The actual RAM and hard disk space required for running Cleo Server would depend on various factors such as the number of services running on the node, the complexity of the services deployed on the node and CPU usage required by these services. The anticipated data flow and performance expected from the system also determine the RAM and hard disk requirements.

The standard base license can be used for up to 2 utilzed CPU sockets on the server. If the server has additional utilized CPU sockets or the server is upgraded with additional CPU sockets, then additional licensing is required.

NOTE: User must have administrative rights on the machine where Integration Server is to be installed. It may also be necessary to upgrade to the current version of Integration Server to run on the listed Operating Systems.

Supported Virtual Environments

  • VMWare ESXi/ESX
  • Microsoft Hyper-V

NOTE: Must be running on Virtual aware hardware. The minimum recommended hardware (above) is a minimum requirement for each virtual environment running Integration Server. Under heavy load, Cleo has seen up to 25% less throughput in a virtual environment compared to a similarly configured native environment.

Java Runtime Environment

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5
Cleo bundles the JRE in its installer and product, so upgrading the Integration Server JRE will not affect other products installed on the same computer.

Database Requirements

  • Embedded HSQLDB (for evaluation only)
  • MySQL 4.1.1.3 up to MySQL 5.1
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008
  • Oracle 10g and 11g

NOTE: Commercial RDBMS required for production environments.
If SQL Server database is installed, the the database user must have permission to create and access tables. For example, an SQL account user must have 'Owner', Create, Update, and Delete permissions. Additionally, the database startup cannot use a temporary password.
The database user account password must not be changed once installed.

Software Requirements

For installing and running Cleo Server, there is no additional software required.

Client Machine requirements (used to access the Cleo Server):

  • Internet Explorer 6 or 7 (Java enabled) browser installed on the PC.
  • Acrobat Reader to view PDF files generated by Process Designer and Data Mapper.
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
  • Static IP Address
  • The Server name must not be changed after installation
