Cleo Releases Version 4.6 of it’s Avaya Host
Interface Software


New Version Now Supports Avaya IR 4.0

Rockford, IL (July 15, 2009) – Cleo Communications, provider of host connectivity products and services since the mid 1980’s, today released version 4.6 of it’s legacy Avaya Host Interface Software for TN3270, TN5250 and SNA which now fully supports Avaya IR 4.0. The software is backwards compatible for Avaya IR 3.x, IR 2.x, and IR 1.x.

“As Avaya releases new versions of their traditional IVR platform in addition to their newer Voice Portal platform, Cleo continues to support our existing customers and others that utilize this technology,” explains Todd Enneking, Vice President of Business Development. Cleo’s legacy 3270/5250 products are installed on Avaya Interactive Response (IR) and integrated into Avaya IVR Designer. Because they help minimize upgrade costs, end users moving their current applications to a new Avaya IR platform or those requiring Avaya IVR Designer typically elect to use these products.

Cleo’s new Transaction-Based Processing solution is used to develop new applications that require efficient access to backend mainframe and AS/400 data from Dialog Designer, Voice XML, Java, .NET or any SOA-capable product for IVR applications, call centers, web pages, etc.

Cleo Host Interface software is available through Avaya IVR Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) as an add-on to the Avaya IVR systems.

Cleo Host Interface products and services help users of Avaya Communications' Avaya IVR systems provide access to enterprise mainframe data and make this information available to their customers over the phone. Examples of Avaya IVR applications include automated telephone banking as well as other telephone-accessed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
