VLProxy - Don't Leave Anthing at Risk in the DMZ.
Enhanced Security Where it Matters Most.
VLProxy works as an automated gatekeeper. When it comes to the security of your critical business data, a gatekeeper is exactly what you want. Recognized relationships are the only way data can enter the internal firewall when you use VLProxy. How do these relationships get recognized? Supplier or customer data that is sent into your network is evaluated for customer or partner validation and the digital certificate and serial number assigned to that relationship is verified. If VLProxy recognizes this relationship – all systems are go and the data exchange is passed through the internal firewall to either LexiCom or VLTrader located on the internal network. If the relationship isn’t recognized, the communication session dies before allowing any of the incoming data past VLProxy, ensuring there are no breeches of your internal firewall. Plus, you are notified via email the minute a failed attempt occurs, giving you real-time visibility to your data flow.

Firewalls are a key component of network security. Also key to security is what happens to files between the internal and external firewalls of an organization. This often overlooked area has a name – the DMZ (demilitarized zone). And, it’s called that for a reason.
