As part of the deployment of BoostAero exchange standards and their growing use in the aeronautic and defense supply-chain domain, the BoostAero International Association has chosen CLEO Communications, Inc. as a “BoostAero Universal Connector” allowing trading partners to communicate with each other according to BoostAero standards. CLEO has developed and certified a solution preconfigured to meet the BoostAero standards for secure communications and XML mapping.

BoostAero Certified Solution

Cleo is one of only a few companies to provide the BoostAero certification. The solution includes Cleo’s secure communications server, VLTrader, and an XML mapping tool via Adeptia, a Cleo partner. Adeptia is a leader in Data Transformation, Integration and Business Process Management Software.

BoostAero, the international association that defines and develops global industrial aerospace/defense supply-chain process and exchange standards, recommends ebMS, or ebXML Message Service for secure file exchanges. ebMS is the messaging layer of the ebXML framework. ebMS specifies how messages are sent and received over the Internet, including features for security, digital signatures, non-repudiation, and reliability. In addition to secure messaging, ebMS can be deployed as part of a web services architecture or as part of the larger ebXML framework. Cleo's VLTrader and Cleo's client software, LexiCom, support ebMS as well as many other protocols including AS2, AS3, FTPS, HTTPS, and more.
