VersaLex Earns Drummond Certification for AS2 Interoperability:
Cleo is one of only two companies to successfully complete all five optional tests
VersaLex successfully completed several rounds of rigorous testing to verify
certificate and data exchange, security, compression, and receipt capabilities.
Cleo was among nineteen companies to participate in the testing session. Additionally,
Cleo completed five optional test Profiles including: Multiple Attachment, File
Name Preservation, File Name Preservation with MDN Notifications, Certificate
Exchange Messaging, and AS2 Reliability.

The Multiple Attachments Profile is used in the Petroleum Industry to handle
the exchange of more than one attachment/payload in a single AS2 message exchange.
The Filename Preservation Profile, specifically for the Financial Services Industry,
tests the ability to retain the filename in AS2 message exchanges from the originating
to receiving side. The Filename Preservation Profile with MDN Notifications,
also for the Financial Industry, adds MDN specific responses for error conditions
when writing payloads. The Certificate Exchange Messaging Profile test relates
to the Retail and Consumer Product Goods Industry and is used to automate the
process of certificate exchanges prior to expiration. Lastly, the AS2 Reliability
Profile is utilized to ensure that a message is received only once in transmission.
Cleo Communications was one of only two companies that successfully completed
all of the optional tests.
