Cleo Launches VersaLex 3.3

Loves Park , IL — Cleo ® Communications, a pioneer in data communications products and services since the mid 1980’s, today released VersaLex TM version 3.3, the technology powering VersaLex Suite, the company’s LexiCom, VersaLex Trader (VLTrader), and VersaLex Proxy (VLProxy) products. The release of VersaLex 3.3 includes a new release of Versalex Proxy 1.9 as well. VersaLex 3.3 offers several new features and enhancements that add to the products’ performance and value, including:

• Added new Certificate Exchange feature available in the AS2, AS3, FTPs, ebXML and the Ftp Server User mailboxes (VLTrader only) for sending local certificates to trading partners via email.  Additionally, support has been added for AS2 to send and receive certificates (via Certificate Exchange Messaging over EDIINT) if the trading partner has a CEM-capable product. 
• Added both client-side and server-side implementations of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) for VLTrader. 
• Enhanced the database payload feature for VLTrader to allow for more outgoing/incoming transfer parameters/headers to be specified/received via the OutgoingProperties/VLIncomingProperties tables.  For outgoing payload, the ability to specify an external, custom transfer ID which will be correlated to VLTrader's transfer ID was also added.
